PRIVATE LESSONS on ACOUSTIC GUITAR and UKULELE
- Instructor: Zoe Maxwell
- Ages 8 and older
- Thursday lessons; 12 weeks per semester
- 30 minute lessons
- Students may have little or no knowledge of the basics of playing.
- Beginning through Intermediate levels
- Various styles taught depending on the student’s interest.
- Instruction will include a basic foundation in the instrument as well as personal goals of the student.
- Concepts: tuning, chords, strumming patterns, playing simple melodies, basic music theory, accompanying self and others.
- Students will need to provide their own instrument in good working order + method book
PRIVATE PIANO LESSONS
Thursdays 9 – 3:45 p.m.
&
Fridays 10 – 1:30 p.m.
- Instructor: Ms. Claire Incorvati
- Minimum age: 5 years old
- Ms. Claire brings over 10 years of experience to her private piano teaching practice.
- She works with families to tailor instruction to suit students’ specific needs and what they are interested in learning, while bringing current best practices in music education to the table.
- 14 weeks of lessons per semester
- 30, 45, or 60 minute lessons (dependent on student age and experience)
- NOTE: New families must speak with the instructor before enrolling students younger than 7 in private lessons to ensure that this setting will be a good fit.
