Guitar Ensemble
[Thursday 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.]
- Instructor: Zoe Maxwell
- Minimum age: 12 years old
- Guitar Ensemble is geared towards middle and high school students that have at least one year of guitar experience. Students must know how to tune their guitar, identify the names of the guitar strings, have a basic understanding of how to read tablature, and know basic chords (C, G, Em, D, A, Am, etc.).
- Students will spend time learning guitar ensemble music while continuing to learn guitar technique. In addition to ensemble playing, students will also expand their repertoire with techniques used in various genres of music.
- Materials needed: acoustic guitar, capo, picks, and personal tuner
