ACE THAT AUDITION

Cover the Do’s and Don’ts of auditioning. Experience a mock audition and learn techniques to help prepare for Region, All-State, college auditions, and more. (Rising 7 – 12th grade)

BACKYARD BAND

Explore sound by using your imagination combined with some creativity to construct original music instruments. (Ages 9 – 12)

CAMP CHOIR

Enjoy singing in a large camp choir? Get together with camp friends and have fun singing all week long! (Any grade level)

CLICK, CLACK, STOMP!

You’ve always wanted to learn to play the drums but never got to. Grab a pair of sticks, a bucket, and have a blast exploring rhythm with all kinds of sounds! (Any grade level)

GUITAR HERO NEWBIES

 

Always wanted to learn guitar? Learn how to tune your guitar, strum basic patterns, and read basic chords. (6th grade and up)

 

GUITAR HERO LEVEL II+

Dust off that GUI-TAR and get ready to jam! Students should already be able to tune their own guitar, play basic open chords (C, D, G, Em, Am), read treble clef music, and keep a steady beat. (Any grade level that meets the requirements.)

HUP! 2 - 3 - 4!

Get ready for marching band boot camp! Learn how to march in step to the beat of a drumline, play your instruments while marching, and follow a drum major! (Band students only)

JAZZ IMPROVISATION

Learn basic improvisation skills with Ella, Duke, Louis, and other jazz masters! (6 – 12 grade; any instrument)

PLAYING, SINGING, AND DANCING, OH MY!

Do you love music, but aren’t sure about a particular instrument? We’ll experiment with our voices, play singing games, use small percussion instruments, and move with scarves. Come prepared to sing, dance, and try new things! (Rising 4 – 7th grade)

PRAISE & WORSHIP 101

Learn basic improv/how to interpret chords to be able to play praise and worship songs. Students must be able to read music. (Any grade level and any instrument)

RECORDER RANGERS

Learn the basics of playing recorder with simple songs and fun musical games! (Ages 9 – 12)

STRING MUSIC THROUGH THE AGES

Learn about string instruments and play music through the ages. (String students only; any grade level)

SUMMER RINGERS

Experience the joy of a Hand Bell Choir! (Rising 7 – 12th grade; students must read music proficiently.)

TAG! YOU'RE IT!

Men’s voices and the fun of singing barbershop tags. (Any grade level)

TAP, TAP, TAP...TAKE IT FROM THE TOP!

Learn conducting basics and experience what it’s like to be on the podium! (Any grade level)

UKE CAN PLAY THE UKULELE

Pull that ukulele out of your closet, dust it off, and let’s play! (Any grade level.)

WHERE IN THE WORLD IS WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART?

A MUSIC MYSTERY adventure where you solve puzzles, decipher codes, and use musical knowledge to discover the different European countries young Mozart lived in and visited. (Age 9 – grade 8)
